Halloween 2010

This is the first year we have carved pumpkins with Macy.  She did not like the smell of the guts.  We actually let her use the carving kit knife and helped her cut her pumpkin.  She loved stabbing the pumpkins and was stabbing the knives in and then yelled out "I made mine into Shrek".  I turned around and it was definitely a Shrek pumpkin.   JD carved the others, I started Minnie but was side tracked with feeding Julia and cleaning up.

And for some reason I let Macy just keep stabbing her poor pumpkin because she was enjoying it so much.
This shows the multiple stab wounds
And here are the costumes:

too blurry but seriously, how funny is this picture?

It was a cold and rainy Halloween.  We are lucky that Macy loves to hand out candy at the door and we didn't need to be out in the cold for long.  JD did take her trick or treating to four houses and then she was ready to man the door again.  She would really build up the suspense with the kids as she would almost drop the candy in their bag and then hurry and drop it in the next kids bag.  They would always laugh and beg her for one.

Okay Laura, well done on the costumes. Those turned out so great! It also helps that you have such cute little girls to wear them. :)

Those pictures are hysterical!!!!!! THey made my day. When Brooke was little she would ask all the trick or treaters if they wanted to come in and play!
