Happy Birthday Macy!

the invitations

I love planning Macy's birthday parties.  I like to let her pick a theme and then I go crazy (probably overboard) from there.  This year she wanted a camel or rainbow party.  I went with rainbows.  Macy's cousins are her favorite friends, so we threw a party for each side of the family.  Both parties were crazy and wild and very fun for us.

missing Abby and Claire (and Will who was home sick)

Bud photographed most of the party and made sure to get himself

JD is so awesome.  He took my crazy idea for a balloon rainbow and spent hours putting it together.

I instantly tear up thinking of the day Macy was born and how our lives were transformed.  She is sweet, funny, quirky and spunky.  She brings more joy into our home than I ever imagined possible.  We are so blessed to be her parents!

Wow Laura! You are such a good Mama. I'm feeling like a big loser because I've never thrown a party for Bryn and she'll be 6 soon. Yikes! Love the rainbow theme.

I was told the party was amazing, but I had no idea. I am drooling over that cake, it looks incredible. I also really love the fruits and veggies and the colored water. I wish I could have been there. Someday I may hire you as a party planner so don't use all your good ideas up.

That looks amazing!! I'm sad I missed it. I'm sure Macy felt so special! I was thinking the same thing as Haley, can I hire you to do my next party?!

The party was awesome! It was funny to see the kids' faces when they saw so many balloons. Once again, great job Laura! and JD!

It WAS a great party and I am so glad I could be there for Macy's party and for Claires. It was a great week with Tyler too.

You really should go into business doing kids parties. I am NOT letting my kids see this post....we go out to dinner and are lucky if I make a homemade cake!

It was an awesome party and all the kids were in heaven! You never miss a detail! We're so lucky to have Macy in our family, she is such a doll.

OH MY WORD- I don't know which is more amazing, the party or the post/pictures about the party- equally I guess. Where did you ever come up with so many beyond darling, perfect, rainbow-y ideas?? Even the girls' pants! Love the whole thing, love, love, love!
